GRACIOUS FALL GREETINGS..DECORATING YOUR HOME OUTDOORS

Welcome Kindred Spirits...
Today, I'm calling on all the fall lovers out there to talk
about Porch Panache for the 2022 season!
What are you planning on for your outdoor look for fall?

I wait until October to go shopping for pumpkins and mums
and any other décor items I wish to put on display using a variety
of autumn colors!
I have a few new garden flags that took my fancy and simply
cannot wait to put them on display!

Have you designed your fall wreath yet?
I like to change things up from year to year but
it is fun to take a look back and see what previous years looked like!

In fact, seeing these yellow mums made me think
it was THE color that just popped outdoors!

I will probably do a similar look in our front urns this year...
I really loved adding lighted branches to this look....

This was the front door wreath last year and even though
I still love it, I am using a different one for this season!

Fall entry in 2021

I love tucking little scarecrows throughout the front flowerbeds.....

This was a few years ago and those mums were just outstanding!

I'm wondering how expensive mums will be this year?

Another past wreath that I believe I gave to my daughter-in-law......

I did enjoy this look and it reminded me to pick up a bale of hay....

I have to plan carefully as anything I place on the front porch entry
will be exposed to the elements....rain and wind for sure.....

That is a fun day we can look forward to....
going to the nursery for pumpkins and mums....
then designing a fall welcome.....

Over in Atlanta,
Miss M always has a festive look going on.....

This look was spectacular

She always has a gorgeous welcome wreath on their front door....

Piper Rose just made this photo magazine worthy...
Now...I wonder what she will come up with this year?
I cannot wait to see what your porch styling ideas are...
let's get creative, shall we?

  1. I just bought some mums for my planters! I went to a local Amish greenhouse and the mums were very reasonable! I'll wait on pumpkins until October, likely, but our September weather has been spectacular! Warm days, cool nights. We've got autumn color coming on! So excited!

You always do beautiful things inside and outside of your home! So does Miss M!

  4. Oh, I love your porch look last year, Betsy. When I was at the store yesterday, I saw a floor mat that says Hello Pumpkin, and had to bring it home with me. I love an orange pumpkin or two on my front porch also. Your wreaths from past years are creative and very nice. And Mums always say Fall to me. Your front porch ideas are welcoming and wonderful. The wreath that you gave to your daughter-in-law is gorgeous. Bursting with Fall colors.

  5. It is up in the 90s here so I really don't feel as if it is fall. I will wait until October to decorate. I don't put anything outside my front door anymore. It is stolen or destroyed as soon as it goes out. The joy of living in a city. Your home looks so beautiful. Wish I could do something like that.
