This is TEXAS, Y'all!
We love our Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers!
It was a Saturday night at Ranger Stadium!
It was 100 degrees! However, we had perfect seating behind home plate and shade!!!
Put this on your bucket list if you have never visited Ranger Stadium!
It is so beautiful and there is so much to see here!
We have been many times and every time we go, it is a delight!
It's fun, exciting and a great place to eat fantastic baseball food and people watch!
Texas people are friendly beyond compare!
They love their baseball team, even though they are riddled with injuries this year....
they are having a real losing streak!
All of a sudden, Jenn said, "SMILE!"
The new theme song is "All You Need is Love!"
Were they people watching or watching the game?
Isn't it gorgeous?
I love it when someone argues with the umpire!
Mmmmmm......how about an ice cold Coca-Cola to go along with your bag of peanuts?
Oh, this guy was a hoot! He must have made this doll, for lack of a better description! He was a little image of Ron Washington, the Texas Ranger's manager! Every time we cheered or sang, he held the doll up to maneuver his antics! We got a real kick out of watching them! Everyone who passed by smiled and talked to him. One woman even came to have her picture taken beside him!
How about a margarita or two?
The perfect ending to a perfect evening......
chocolate ice cream served in a little baseball helmet!
YUM!!!!
Hot dogs go hand in hand with a baseball game!
They taste so darn good, along with a cold beer!
The only time I drink beer is at the beach and the baseball game!
That's my rule!
Summer is the perfect season to serve up some chili dogs to the guys in your life!
They love em'!

Got to try this. Sounds so much like the Michigan chili dog sauce. My Mom would treat us to the Michigan dog on week ends when we lived on the east coast. So long ago. I'm a Texan now true and through. So I will make for my grandkiddos -- your texas chili dogs.... Thanks for the recipe.
ReplyDeleteThat's a wonderful memory Cherie! So happy you shared this with the readers! Hope you enjoy those chili dogs! Happy summer love!
DeleteIs the 2 cups of water for boiling the meat? That is the "T" for cider vinegar and Worcestershire sauce?
ReplyDeleteYes, just as the directions read. Boil water, then add your ground beef. A capital T indicates TABLESPOON.
