CURRENT LIFE ACTIVITIES...INSPIRATION TO SHARE

Between home schooling, working from home schedules,

walking Piper Rose and taking nature walks with Luke....
not to mention housekeeping, cleaning and preparing meals....
there are a few touches of Easter on display in Atlanta.....

Luke the Duke made his first entire dinner....
Chicken Picatta.....absolutely delicious!

I had some Puff Pastry in the freezer and thought about
making fried pies....
Chocolate Pies made in the Air Fryer....
350 degrees for 9 minutes

Chocolate Pies baked in the oven at 350 degrees for 20 minutes

Both methods turned out beautifully using Puff Pastry
I made the filling with cocoa, butter and sugar

Best Dinner of the week....
Crispy Buffalo Spiced Chicken
with Blue Cheese Sauce, Sour Cream and Chive Potatoes and
Roasted Carrots

Our grocery stores are still hit and miss.....
the Divine Miss M was able to score a supply of toilet paper
for us on Amazon....thank you dear daughter!

Afternoon car rides are so welcoming......

I felt the need to bring  some yellow to the kitchen decor
and thought lemons would be so refreshing as we continue
our stay at home orders.....

I also fashioned a two-tiered tray for Easter....
now this was a fun little project for an afternoon....

We have enjoyed take out from some of our favorite local
restaurants hoping to help them out during the pandemic crisis...
we continue to pray for our health care workers and all of those
who continue to work hard to keep our country functioning....
I hope you are all safe and well.......take good care!

  1. That was a pleasant drive. Luke's chef skills are really sophisticated. Thank you for the good thoughts and the pretty things to see.

  2. Love your car drive! And your lemons. I have crock pot chicken cooking and our house smells so good. It's so nice out that the AC is off and the doors are open and you can smell all that honeysuckle out there on the fence! Daughters are wonderful! Amber is bringing us some paper towels......
