The most popular weekday breakfast is a bowl of cereal or a piece of toast.
Hmmmm......are you bored yet?
How many times did I see people at the office walk in with a breakfast bag
from the nearest drive through which was filled with good tasting, but
bad-for-you breakfast foods. In addition, for those non-coffee or tea drinkers,
they normally included a huge sized sugary soft drink. Those eating habits catch up with us eventually, don't they? Perhaps it does not take a whole lot of effort and time to wake up thirty minutes earlier and discipline ourselves to start the day in a healthy way. Now, doesn't homemade banana oat bread, local honey, yogurt and homemade trail mix sound better? If you are pressed for time in the morning with the pressures of school and work, then this smoothie recipe is one of my favorites!
I wanted to come up with some fresh ideas for a healthier breakfast. I hope
these weekly menu options will inspire all of us to make our lives healthier,
happier and experience more beautiful moments.
