The darling is notorious for skipping breakfast most mornings!
I have done my very best this summer
to change that habit!
And...it appears to be working!
Here are some very quick and easy
ideas that we have enjoyed during these triple digit mornings!
This delicious breakfast smoothie might be
just the perfect little start to your morning!
One banana
4-5 slices of fresh mango
1 cup of Soy Vanilla Almond Milk
1/4 cup crushed ice
Place all ingredients in a blender.
Blend on low for 30 seconds.
Serve in a beautiful stemmed glass!
He LOVES this protein shake!
I dress it up a tad by adding a banana!
I add one scoop of whey protein,
4-5 ounces of milk, crushed ice
and blend well with the banana!
This is so filling, it carries us through the morning
all the way to lunch.
This has been especially great for him when he
has a day of business meetings back to back!
Who doesn't enjoy a beautiful
greek yogurt parfait?
I just layer fresh berries, with the yogurt of our favorite flavors,
then top with a yummy granola!
What's been on your breakfast table lately?
Hope y'all enjoy your day!
Nothing as special as these...
ReplyDeleteFantastic breakfasts. I like to cut up a peeled banana and freeze the pieces in a ziplock bag. Then when you blend it into the smoothie, it is more like a "milkshake" kind of consistency. -Jenn
ReplyDeleteI would love to have some of that mango- banana almond smoothie right now ♥

Those all look very good. I love parfait. I could do those every morning. Oh I want to say how much I love your summertime header pictures. :):) Blessings, xoxo, Susie
ReplyDeleteAll of your breakfast meals look great, Betsy. Except on the weekend, it's pretty boring around here for breakfast. Usually toast with peanut butter or bagel with cream cheese and fruit. Sometimes just yogurt. We like to take a morning walk and I must eat something quickly before heading out the door. I do like the sounds of that mango banana smoothie in your pretty glass. ♥
ReplyDeleteThis all sounds amazing! I love the granola from Tom Thumb. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat ideas! I need to find my blender! Louis Dean is a bacon and egg man - or sausage and egg - or pancakes and eggs! I tend to eat fruit and yougurt or toast.
ReplyDeleteI would drink anything out of that pretty goblet!!!
Love your choices for a carefree breakfast-such healthy and pretty options too!
