HOT-LANTA!
It's July my darling's and as expected...
it's time to relax and find fun ways to stay cool!
Looks like Miss Piper and Luke the Duke
found a sweet spot!
Summertime.....and the Livin' is easy......
We celebrated the 4th a few days early this year
since Rob came home Thursday night and
had Friday off for the holiday!
Back to work on Monday!
First up....
making the Red Velvet Cupcakes!
Simply divine!
Jenn and Bo were off to the pool!
I don't believe I have ever seen a dog
that loves to swim as much as ole' BoBo!
Meanwhile, I mixed up my special BBQ sauce
to serve alongside the Boston Butt!
This sauce is pure GOLD!
to serve alongside the Boston Butt!
This sauce is pure GOLD!
The boys decided to go off to a shooting range...Indoor...
which now adays is more like a country club....
Jenn and I declined and went shopping instead!
Oh behold, the beauty of fall....
Now...this is my idea of heaven y'all....
We each found something we couldn't resist!
So, while the roast was simmering away in the crockpot,
it was pool time again!
First one in.....every time~
Greg found a new game to play
for game night...
we needed an INDOOR activity
and
his new game find was going to be SO FUN!
Mae was trying to figure out if these were HER toys....
This was GREAT!
The concept is ...
one player adapts the role of the GHOST
while the others play psychics.
All players share the goal of shedding light on the
strange circumstances that surround the ghost's death!
It's a WHO, WHERE and with WHAT concept!
Similar to CLUE, but with more in depth messages
handed out that the players must solve!
My favorite trilogy of all times was being shown,
so we all became wrapped up in The Godfather!
Oh honey....did the house smell good!
I changed our menu a tad bit and
made Mother's Baked Beans and opted for roasted Corn on the Cobb!
They said it was OUTSTANDING!
Music to my ears....
a perfect Fourth of July dinner!
We ended with petite summer Banana Pudding's!
Over in Atlanta...
it was time to present the new doggie pool to Piper Rose!
I would say she thoroughly enjoyed herself!
That's the ticket darling....
stay cool!
Hope y'all have a fabulous 4th!
Early or not, you and your family must have had a ball! Love all of your snaps and of course your food has my mouth watering!
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
