Let's celebrate our RED, WHITE AND BLUE!
I had the menu planned...
but what did I want to do with the tablescape
for our July 4th celebration?
Then....I found my inspiration piece...
this darling little vintage canvas print, which
I had bought for our Maine coastal guest bedroom!
I was going Nautical mixed with Americana!
All the decorations are bought on a budget...
you can collect so many decorating items
you like without spending a great deal of money!
I bought this pillow about five years ago
when the Divine Miss M and I went to Home Goods
and never had room to bring it back to Texas!
Lo and behold, on our last visit, I had enough luggage room
to pack it up...perfecto!
The nautical throw is new
and
is reversible,
and
is reversible,
Many of the items I put together
were from our Maine days!
were from our Maine days!
I have had the dinnerware from a July 4th three years ago
The Pioneer Woman's collection
and
nautical napkins!
I purchased this darling little vintage bathing beauty
to match my canvas print and fell in love
with this vintage six pack of Coca-Cola!
It's fun to find little sweet treats for the kiddos.
The lighted star garland is also a dollar isle Target find!
The floral centerpiece was only $5.00....
The floral centerpiece was only $5.00....
and I found the nautical stars in the dollar isle at Target!
I rewrapped the vintage thread spools which are about thirty years old now.
Who doesn't love little Baby Ruth's?
Americana Tootsie-Pops
Vintage boxes of Cracker Jacks
Red Licorice bundles
Americana M and M's
An Americana dinner plate
was used as the base for the floral centerpice,
surrounded by individual packages of Cracker Jacks!
I am just wondering if the grandchildren even know
about the surprise inside...
remember that?
“I’d
like to buy the world a home
And
furnish it with love.
Grow
apple trees and honey bees,
And
snow white turtle doves.”
“What
the world wants today…
Coca-Cola…It’s
the real thing!”
Stars and Stripes....
It's a Star Spangled Celebration!
Yes...they light up!
As we celebrate AMERICA.....
Wishing you and those you love
a very happy and safe
Oh me oh my! I love it all every detail is just so perfect!
ReplyDeleteIt feels so patriotic and all Americana!
I am going to spend a little time sharing now:)

Jemma
Hi Jemma! Thank you so much for your visit and sweet comments! Hope you and your family enjoy a great July 4th! Hugs!!!
DeleteFabulous tablescape! You've outdone yourself Betsy! I've created 4th of July gift bags for my grandsons, but would like to add the Cracker Jacks and Americana tootsie pops. Do you recall where you found them? Have a very happy holiday weekend with your family!
ReplyDeleteHi Connie! I am SO happy you enjoyed the tablescape! Gift bags for the grandchildren will be adorable! Yes, I bought both the tootsie pops and a 3-pack of Cracker Jacks on Amazon! I searched high and low for the original boxes of Cracker Jacks and could not find them! Miss M found some at her Publix in Atlanta. Wishing you a fun-filled 4th!
ReplyDeleteThanks Betsy! I don't have Amazon Prime, so it's probably too late for me to add these items. The last time I looked for Cracker Jacks, I found them at Cracker Barrel, so I may try there again. I saw those cute stars at Target just yesterday. It's amazing how pretty everything looks, and yet on a budget too!
DeleteTotally festive and Patriotic!
