THE ELUSIVE RECIPE

SiSTER:
"One of our patients was telling us about 
THE MOST delicious cake today.
It is really easy to throw together and uses a box cake mix.
It has an entire stick of butter and sweetened condensed milk too!"

ME:
 "Oh my gosh, yes...PLEASE send me the recipe...
the darling will love this!
The children are coming up for the weekend,
so it will be great to have a new dessert to serve!"

 SiSTER:
"Oh sure....Sue is going to bring it in on Monday so I will be sure to touch base with you and let you know how it was.
I will send you the recipe.

ME:
"Please just email the recipe...
DO NOT send it through Snail Mail...
this is 2014 ya' know!"

Here is what SiSTER sent....I can't make this stuff up.....

"Yes, the cake was absolutely fabulous. 

Sue said that she only put in half of the condensed milk mixture

 - what do you do with the other half? 

 It is definitely worth making. 

 You won't stop eating this one!"
