FALL OUTDOOR HOME TOUR

Welcome to Estelle's Fall 2020 outdoor home tour....
Please relax with a hot cup of coffee....
sit back and enjoy scrolling through these photos
of touches of Autumn we have added to our outdoor living spaces....

As 2020 will go down in the history books of being
a somewhat depressing year and making us all
a bit anxious, it's so very important to lift our spirits
as we celebrate this most beautiful season of Autumn.....

We have added Jack O' Lanterns, pumpkins, wreaths, mums,
Hay bales and garden flags to create a most welcoming entryway.....

This is going to be lovely once the mums are in full bloom,
and the Jack O' Lanterns are glowing from within.....

The patio is always fun to create a seasonal vibe.....
Every little space will remind you of something.....
picking apples, visiting a pumpkin patch,
going on a hayride and sipping hot apple cider.....

Our patio is our sanctuary....it's peaceful, safe, relaxing
and allows us to connect with nature....

I remember so well, sitting on my grandparent's front porch in the summers
and listening to the adults talk, watching the neighbors walk by and wave
as they made their way to the Methodist Church or to the post office
to pick up their mail...it was the best of times.....

I try never to waste a singe day in October
of reflecting on all of our blessings....

It's the time to bring out fall pillows.....
lanterns and adorn our home with festive
fall decor.....

If we are able to enjoy Thanksgiving with family...
I think they are really going to enjoy what
we have displayed this year.....

How I love to hear the wind in the trees
and the light sounds of windchimes and crows in the greenbelt.....

Just enjoying the sounds of silence.....

My favorite reading corner on a fall afternoon.....

My little garden space for Daddy's angel......

The evenings now require a blanket or cardigan
and how wonderful is that?

The cocktail hour is always our favorite time of the day
to unwind and just talk...about good times from the past....
Thank you for stopping by today....
I would love to know how you have
dressed your homes for the season...making
it a real place for comfort and joy.....

  1. I have some pumpkins and mums by my front door and my kitchen door (though the chickens ate the pumpkins by the kitchen door). I have a few pumpkins on the deck, too. I love this time of year and the beauty it brings.

  2. Looks so charming and completely welcoming! May families who wish to be together for Thanksgiving be together for Thanksgiving. It will be a wonderful day perhaps putting this unpleasant year in the rear view mirror. It is perfectly obvious to me that you love October and Thanksgiving. 🙂

  3. Love all the adorable decorations. I like that you sit out, even in a sweater or blanket to enjoy these wonderful days. I like that you still have roses blooming. The cute signs, pillows and pumpkins just set a great fall mood. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
