LET'S CELEBRATE SUMMER

Here we are...Summer is upon us!

Final exams are over and the school year has ended!

I think it was a bit more exciting when we were younger,

but we can find ways to enjoy June, July and August!

Here are a few ways I celebrate the season at Estelle's!

Pick up a lovely floral bouquet at the grocery..

they are not very expensive and can

brighten your kitchen for a few weeks!

I love changing out the backdoor wreath for the seasons.

This wreath features delicate little flowers in summer colors...

a very french country theme, I think!

I love a cloudy summer afternoon poolside.

It's lovely to hear music in the distance, neighbors mowing their lawns and

children having fun and splashing in their backyard pools.

Oh, let's enjoy the lovely foods of summer....

grilled burgers and hot dogs, fresh watermelons and 

scrumptious garden tomatoes.......

I love the cool breezy summer fashion

and straw hats....

Jewelry should be light and flirty....

The new boho style fashion reminds me of my teen years....

SUMMER 2018 FASHION LOOKBOOK

I did a major closet clean out back in January 

so it was time to bring in some fresh designs

for warmer weather.

The current fashions are feminine and romantic

which is a look I simply love.

Today, I am sharing new fashions and accessories

I have selected for the summer season!

It's all about the sleeves this year.....

this is an off the shoulder top which is so flattering...

love the bat-wing sleeves!

I fell in love with this little denim top....

a split v-neck is also so comfortable in warm weather.

I love the touch of the woven detail around the dropped

waist and belle sleeves.

This is another off the shoulder embroidered peasant top.

This is so light and cool to wear.....

Love, love, love the sleeves and scalloped hem.

This lace top is just beautiful....

it will require a white Cami underneath

but can be worn with either white or black dress slacks

or even paired with jeans for a more casual look.

This is my real find of the season....

this beautiful blouse in the color Paprika

was marked down to just $9.99 from the

original $100.00 price tag!

I love this color for summer worn with white Capri's.



When the weekend rolls around, it's good
to remain stylish while running errands...
a little gray tee, paired with denim Capri's,
a silver layered necklace and a cute pair of kicks
are my go-to outfit!

ACCESSORIES FOR THE FALL WARDROBE

Do you love fall clothes as much as I do?

Fall fashion has been and will always be my favorite!

This year I have chosen three autumn colors

as the basis for my wardrobe....

Wine

Olive

Navy

Now let's talk accessories.....

shoes, scarves, vests and jewelry!

I simply adore a vest with a pair of slim leg jeans.......

I pair the vest with a little bateau neck tee or a crisp white collared shirt.

Scarves are a beautiful accent that can be worn in so many ways...loving the plaid...

My favorite ballet flat is from Aerosoles and have purchased several pairs

in different colors....their classic and comfortable.

For a more casual look,

I wear saddle brown or black high riding boots.

Bold gold jewelry will also be perfect for this style.

This dark olive vest looks lovely with a cream colored tee...

accents are in the rust/pumpkin family.

I normally pair this with dark olive jeans.

Throw on a few bold bangles and you're good to go......

I love this look when spending a fall afternoon strolling the square

for a casual lunch and browsing the antique shops.

The color of Navy has always been one of my all time favorites....

I pair this vest with a gray and silver paisley scarf and gray pearls.

Pearls worn with a crisp white blouse is always on trend.....

I think my wardrobe is ready...now I just need to fill the calender with 

places to go......

SUMMER BEACH FASHION

We have been taking family beach vacations

for a number of years now.

After so many of these trips, we pretty much

have it down to a science.

Of course, it does take alot of planning as far as 

meals, cleaning items, drinks and of course....FASHION!

The boys are in charge of fishing gear, grilling tools,

ice chests and canopies.

They can throw in shorts and t-shirts and are good to go.

I on the other hand, like to carefully plan

my wardrobe for each day and occasion.

We go down to the beach early, early morning

and have coffee. Then we walk back up 

to the beach house for breakfast.

Dressing for the day is very, very casual...

swim suits and cool cover-ups.

I like to choose cool and breezy tops to pair with

 a pair of white dress slacks

and white capri's for the evenings.

I most always go with turquoise, navy and whites.
I pack a few favorite jewelry pieces
and
three beach hats.
I also select dressy flip-flops, beach flip-flops and
one pair of dress sandals.

I am over the moon about caftans this year,....

thanks to Patricia Atlschul from Southern Charm.
I just adore her and love her elegant, yet relaxed style
of entertaining.

I loved this caftan so much,
I bought two of them!

This is my first cold shoulder top...
and I ADORE THIS....
I also found a perfect pair of espadrille's to wear with it!!!

The colors are so beach friendly and
it also has a touch of sparkle!

I have had this top for many years and
it is light and gauzy....perfect for an evening shrimp boil.

This Ellen Tracy caftan is so colorful and flattering.
It is long enough to be dress length so this is going
to be so comfortable for cocktails out on the deck.

This blue porcelain by far
is my favorite for this year.....

I take along one maxi dress for our
special dinner out at a local restaurant...
I love the navy trim mixed with all the colorful rose florals.
So, I think I am pretty organized this year....
love, love, love to look forward to vacations. don't you?

WINDOW SHOPPING FOR SUMMER

Our tradition on Sunday afternoon

was to go window shopping with Mother....

just the three of us....Mother, my sister and me.

So, today I decided to "window shop" the new way

and select some new favorite fashion items for summer.

My favorite new color combinations are

''corals and yellows.'

Lots of fun and flirty fashion bracelets.

One can never have too many statement necklaces.......

and....turquoise......love pairing turquoise with coral.

I adore these cute little ballet flats.....

I may look for one in every color!

Yep....coral nail polish and lip color too!

And....for date night with the darling....
