THE EASTER WEEKEND BEGINS

Miss M has had a whirlwind of activities
over in Atlanta this week. There have been several
school projects going on and she is so very good
about donating her time and energy into being present
for our one and only Luke the Duke.
Golf lessons are in full "swing"
and they will be off to Florida for Spring Break this coming week.

I sure miss the Egg Hunts that we used to have....
all those years in Jackson from when the children were little...
what precious, precious memories they are.

My menu has been determined and all the recipes
have been organized.
My grocery list is ready to go....
I have gone through and chosen the server ware
I want to use this year......helps me to prepare
for family ahead of time...do you find this to be true?
This is my mother-in-law's glass bowl.......

which I plan on using for the Rosa Marina salad.

I always use Grandmother's beautiful plate for the
Lamb Cake.
However, this year, I am just going to have it on
display on the dining room sideboard.

The silver has been polished.
I love mixing our wedding pattern in
with my Mother's silver.

My asparagus casserole is one we used to enjoy
at home.....one of my all time favorites.

This goes beautifully with my Tangerine Glazed Ham.

The Lamb Cake this year is going to be
Rainbow Chip....how cute is that?
I thought back that I have been making this Lamb Cake
for over thirty years...one of my favorite memories
of baking in Mother's kitchen.
Makes me a bit verklempt just thinking about Easter's past....
wishing each of you a very Blessed and
Happy Easter.
