THIS is a GREAT recipe.
We do not prepare pork chops often,
but when we do, I want them to be tender
and served with a savory gravy for
rice or mashed potatoes.
I also love to use the slow cooker
so that I can go about my day
and not worry about dinner.
You will love this recipe.
CROCKPOT PORK CHOPS
2-4 pork chops
1 can of chicken broth
1 package of dry onion soup mix
1 package of pork gravy mix
Place pork chops in slow cooker.
Combine the broth and dry mixes together
and pour over the pork chops.
Cover and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours.
This recipe is so good and makes a lovely gravy.
Oh honey...I was just looking for a slow cooker recipe for pork chops. I love them grille, but sometimes they can be a little tough. Can't wait to try your recipe!
ReplyDeleteBetsy, Now this is a great recipe...one pot cooking is getting to be my style. LOL We eat pork and chicken here and occasionally fish. Rarely red meat. I just spotted your crock pot on your side bar with mac & cheese. Give us that recipe some time. :):) I know your husband can't wait to get home and see what all you have cooked up for dinner. LOL Bless your heart, xoxo, Susie

We stop at HEB in Waco to get our groceries on the way in. Pork chops will be a perfect meal for a night this weekend! Louis Dean will love this! Thanks for the recipe!
ReplyDeleteI love to use my crockpot when life is busy! I agree that porkchops need to be moist. Sounds like a great recipe! -Jenn
