WELL IT'S SATURDAY NIGHT......

 

Texas! Saturday night and celebrating March with a backyard Shrimp Boil! We could never have accomplished this is Maine. The darling and I know how fortunate we are to have children that want to "hang with the old folks!" It was in the 70's on Saturday....flip-flop weather!!!

Bo is growing up. He no longer runs wildly through the house as he did when he was a pup! He looks like he had put on a little weight since we last saw him and I promise you, he has the cutest face on a dog I ever did see! He no longer chases Mae and is SO excited to be here! He is king of the backyard for a day or two!

We love doing shrimp boils! Greg takes over as "boss man" and he is in charge of getting the seasoning "just right!" A combination of onions, lemons, Bay Seasoning, Slap Ya'Mama and Cajun spices! MMMMMMMMM....................

In go the baby reds, mushrooms, corn, sausage and shrimp!

Bo-Bo smells the heavenly seafood! Looks happy doesn't he?

Mae Mo is displeased. She is looking at the crazy dog and wondering how long he intends to stay!

This is soooo aromatic!
