In March, the Divine Miss M planned a visit for us to the Georgia Governor's Mansion which is located in Northwest Atlanta. This 24,000 square feet, Greek-Revival home became the official residence of the Governor and First Lady of Georgia beginning in 1967. The mansion has 30 rooms and sits on 18 acres of stunningly beautiful wooded grounds. The architect was A. Thomas Bradbury. It is one of the finest Federal style homes in all of the United States. We received an invitation to return to the mansion during the Christmas Holidays to experience the mansion in all it's Christmas finery! Indeed, we plan to return!
