March was a good month here in Texas..
we have been spring cleaning both inside and outside...
thr bulbs are coming up and the trees are showing their leaves..
the lawns are greening up nicely and the sun is shining..

I fashioned my backdoor wreath out of things I had in storage...
I have a few decor pieces I updated to put out on the patio,
but we have rain this week, thank goodness,
so I am going to wait a bit before placing them outside.

I made a delicous corn casserole to go with a
Sloppy Joe Pasta....
you know the old favorite using Jiffy Cornbread Mix,
Sour Cream and Corn....with sprinkles of Cheddar Cheese....Yum-Oh

Our son, who is a wonderful home chef..
made us dinner the other evening and served a
beautiful and oh so delicious Korean Dish known as
Bibimbap which is a Korean Rice Bowl!

This is a very old family favorite....
Flour tortillas, apple pie filling and a buttery cinnamon syrup....

I don't know what I like better, Lucille Louisa Merriweather's name, or how adorable she is. I love that throw blanket too, so springy! And, yay for using stuff you already have...when I'm out and about, I'll see the cutest decor things, but I already have so much, oops! :)

ReplyDeleteI adore your bee wreath! SO pretty. We still have bees in iur apiary at the ranch but haven't been working the hives so no honey harvest the last couple of years. This weekend Sherry and I are going to do hive inspections and will do walk away splits, thereby increasing the number of hives we have. I am so looking forward to a good honey harvest later this year!
I'm using a lot of yellow in my sewing room with a honeybee theme and garden vibes!
Don't tell anyone but I still have a Christmas tree in the guest room! Things take longer for me these days but I'm still moving forward!
Betsy, you sure know how to wrap up a month, what a fun week! I will have to try some of your dishes, especially the apple enchiladas! They look simple and delicious:) That blanket Miss M sent you is beautiful, I love the pattern selection and material.
