SWEET ALABAMA PECAN BREAD
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
4 eggs, beaten
1 cup oil
1 1/2 cup Self-Rising flour
1 t. vanilla
2 cups chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Lightly grease a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
Stir together the sugar, brown sugar, eggs and oil
in a medium sized mixing bowl.
Stir in flour and vanilla. Add pecans and stir until evenly blended.
Spoon into prepared baking dish and bake for 30 minutes.
Do not overbake..

those look absolutely delicious! wish I could eat that much sugar now. (diabetes) but alas... must admire from afar. but I remember that fabulous flavor. I used to make one similar called Tom Thumb Bars as I recall! those were the days.
