We talked about it.......Miss M and I.....

she asked me if I had seen THE CAKE STAND....and OH YES....

I had seen it and loved it.......she loved it too...

so I said I want to buy one for you!

And so I did......

Then I flew home and purchased one for myself.....

Honey, there is no way to be sad when eating cake!

I LOVE CAKE STANDS.....and
this one has so many uses....can't wait to bake!

So, speaking of baking....

Your new cake stand is beautiful. I love how you've styled it. It will be stunning with that Coconut Cake inside, too. Quick question: do you actually use shortening in the cake recipe or do you use butter or oil instead? I need an expert's (you!) advice on which is best. Thank you. BTW, I love the gallery wall in your daughter's kitchen. That look is exactly what I need on one of my walls so I will use the layout for inspiration. I've always liked the look of a gallery design, but they can be tricky to get just right. Thanks for the photo. Have a nice weekend.
