Mother was voted COOK OF THE MONTH
by the city of Jackson, Mississippi one year
and one of her most requested recipes
was her APPLE NUT CAKE.
We could not wait until fall rolled around and
this seasonal dessert graced the sideboard.
I keep her tradition alive by baking this each October....
then realized I had failed to bake this last month...
so TODAY is THE day!
I feature her recipe each year, so in case you missed
this, here is the post from 2016.....
I copied the recipe and will be making it the next time we have guests :) I love old fashioned recipes with simple ingredients. Thank you . . . I can hardy wait to try it:)
