Hello loves...
how's your week going?
More of the same here in the
Great State of Texas!
Hot Tamale!!!!
So far, the summer heat has not taken it's toll
on the potted plants...
still trying to revive the fragrant viola's
from last month...they ARE coming back slowly!
Here's a little stroll through our outdoor living space....
Ok...would you believe these flip flops are from
Coldwater Creek...I have a lime green pair also
AND.....
they are about twenty five years old!
Aren't they fun!!!!
This toile planter is just about my favorite thing....
I placed it on top of our little outdoor fridge!
The bunnies devoured the bottom portion of my vanilla hydrangea....
well....I really had to forgive them as they were THE
cutest wee darlings ever....
I am really happy with this huge planter...
Mother and Daddy always had planted
Elephant Ears in Jackson....so I continue to plant what they did!
The pot and the bulbs are from Costco
and they are doing beautifully!
Elephant Ears and Cannas in the back garden....
they seem to be happy in this spot with
filtered sunlight!
Oh how I love him....
he never fails to bring peace and serenity....
We are super pleased with our choice of outdoor furniture....
the color is going to be amazing in the fall!
The perfect place for an evening cocktail.....
that's my grandparents little vintage marble top ice cream table...
years old...
it is indeed my treasured heirloom.
Surround yourself with things that make you happy.....
His eye is on the sparrow....
my Cardinals love this little fountain,
as they know where they can find a cool drink of water...
It's all in the details isn't it?
I would so love to see where you
I would so love to see where you
are enjoying your "staycation!"
Beautiful! My husband has a number of Buddah's. I much prefer your decorative bunny to the real ones that can eat their way through a garden in no time (regardless of how cute they are!) I would definitely join you there for an evening cocktail! -Jenn
ReplyDeleteBetsy, I love your outdoor living area. I like the color too. The heat has been heavy here lately, so not much sitting out for me the past week. Although my containers of flowers have been looking so pretty. Today I did pick up sticks, droppings from the mature trees here. I like to have water features for the birds, I really try my best to refresh the waters. Blessings, keep cool, xoxo, Susie
ReplyDeleteBetsy, your patio is lovely. Your flowers and pretty accents are so inviting. The heat and humidity is here at our home. I actually don't like it when I feel like we need to be inside. So we steal away in the early morning to have breakfast on our patio after our walk. Enjoy your lovely home. ♥
ReplyDeleteBeautiful area!!! Glad your plants are surviving! Hope it get cooler soon.
ReplyDeleteYour space is lovely! I have been having fun with our family visiting from California! Lots of adventures for little boys. So fun. We've been warm and humid but not too hot, but tomorrow we're supposed to heat up!
