TRADER JOE'S FALL FAVORITES

One of our favorite
specialty grocery stores is
Trader Joe's!

These are some delicious fall favorites we picked up on the weekend!

Everything we selected was delicious!

A box of 16 Iced Pumpkin Scone Cookies!
These were bites of heaven....little pumpkin cakes
with a glazed icing! Perfect for breakfast, tea time or a sweet ending!
We all gave these two thumbs up!

This Pumpkin Walks Into a Bar...love the name!
This bar is perfect for an active lifestyle when you need to grab and go!
Perhaps a quick breakfast or mid-day snack ...however,
they taste more like apple than pumpkin to us!

Oh yea....here comes the Cookie Butter!!!
They were sold out of the plain Cookie Butter,
so I opted for the crunchy!!!
Everyone did a taste test and my oh my....
this stuff is divine!!!!!
You can eat it right off the spoon or a more civilized way
would be to spread it on apple slices, waffles, toast or pancakes!
This is FABULOUS!!!
It could be described as similar to a gingersnap
or
peanut butter on a graham cracker!

We love anything with cranberries....
These Pita Crisps are made exclusively for Trader Joe's
in a family owned bakery. Great with a variety of cheeses and fruits!
And....they are toasted not fried!
Loved them!!!!

I was over the moon happy when I found one of their
new products....Watermelon Juice!
What is there to say....
tastes like an ice cold watermelon!!!!
Yum-O!

Now, to add to all our fall favorite snacks...
it's time for our boiled peanuts...
a Southern Tradition we hold in high esteem......

We picked up two big bags of raw peanuts from Sprouts....
oh what a divine autumn afternoon!!!

Bo was sporting his Longhorn scarf in honor
of Red River Rivalry weekend....
the Texas Longhorns scored a sweet victory over Oklahoma!

Hope y'all had a great weekend too!!!

  1. I have never made boiled peanuts, it looks like a fun fall ritual. I am in Trader Joe's at minimum once a week. Their milk was a great deal last week, plus pepper pistachios, dried apricots from Turkey, frozen foods like Chicken Chile Verde burritos, and so much more.

  2. I love Trader Joe's!!! Ruth Ann and I have been going to the one in Grapevine. I'll need to make another trip there as soon as we get home!
The peanuts looked like a fun thing to do! I bought a bag of roasted ones at the Weatherford Farmer's Market last weekend. I always associate roasted peanuts with fall.

  5. Trader Joe's is about 30 minutes away, but from your post, it looks like it is worth the drive!

  6. You have such different snacks down south than we do. We don't have a Trader Joe's either. And we don't boil peanuts! I'm missing out. LOL
