Easter Sunday is such lovely time to display beauty
throughout our home....
we had a tradition to spend Easter at my parents home
in Mississippi which was about an eight hour drive for us....
Mother would have the dining table all dressed for Easter dinner
and beautiful candy dishes, which I had gifted her...
we had homemade Easter baskets for the children
and hosted an egg hunt in their beautiful backyard.....
such precious memories

I love to incorporate heirlooms into my seasonal vignettes
Tulips are my normal go-to florals for spring
This plate dates back to the early 1900's and belonged to
Grandmother ESTELLE
OLD BUTTONWOOD was the first Presbyterian Church
built in Philadelphia in 1704.
It was surrounded by a grove of Sycamore trees.

The little workstation desk in the kitchen holds
a few Easter favorites...

And I felt the kitchen bay window needed a vibrant green..
It is rather fun to pull together various pieces
to display and pull together a seasonal holiday vignette

New cottage style bunnies are on the dining table
I found these at Walmart for $5.00
This precious bunny is from the Liz Marie line
And a vintage look on the bar cart......
I hope you have a very blessed and happy Easter Sunday
I love all your Easter groupings! This will be the first year in over 25 years that I will not be hosting either a Good Friday or an Easter Sunday or Saturday for my family. I thought I would be sad about that but I discovered I'm not. Perhaps next year will be different although I realize that nothing ever stays the same.
ReplyDeleteI can relate Linda...it becomes harder as we grow a little older..but the gatherings we do have are so very special....so love your blog as you know!
DeleteThose cottage bunnies are just so cute. Love the floral look on them. The roses on the kitchen bay window are very pretty. And I especially like all the blue pieces on your desk. Blue in the home is beautiful. It's so nice to put out pieces that belonged to your grandmother. It is wonderful to have treasures that were handed down to us from our dear ones that have left this earth. Happy Spring Betsy!
