I never thought I'd say it but I can't help feeling hopeful for our country with President Trump. I understand the feelings of those who didn't vote for him but I am disappointed they aren't even giving him a chance. I wish everyone would wait and see what he does once he gets into office. At the very least, I would like to see everyone respect the wonderfully American peaceful transfer of power. We live in the greatest country in the world. God Bless our new President and the USA.
I have watched the festivities and inauguration all day. was moved to tears many times. political parties aside... I love that this country transfers such power with elegance and style.
and then the protesters started! the world was watching. it was embarrassing. what has throwing stones against the windows of a starbucks and torching a car have to do with any protest? and wounding two police officers? I hope 'the people' will live up to the kindness and elegance of their leaders... both incoming and outgoing. let other countries have MOBS if they must. not us!
We watched most of the activities today and wish President Trump and Vice President Pence all the best. America can become great again. Melania will be a most gracious First Lady.
Trump won, he is our President, I believe America is now going to be the America I grew up in as a child in the 40s and 50s, when times were softer. I am so happy with Trump being president,we will again have God back in our country, and in our schools as it should be.
I was for President Trump from the beginning. I believe he would change politics because it was sadly needed. The career politicians have made a mess of things. Just as with any club or organization, if the same people stay in charge things you only see their vision and it is not always the vision that is good for the everyone else. God bless President Trump and First Lady Melania.
Yes, looking forward to the change.
