It's time to decorate for the Winter months.
What colors do you love for January?
I am bringing more gray and cream into
I am bringing more gray and cream into
nooks and crannies throughout our home!
Love, love, love the new throws
that Miss M found for me over the holidays!
They are simply luxurious!
Now, the funny thing is we both
bought the same accent throw pillow without even knowing it!
Just proves....."like Mother, like Daughter!"
It's probably only a matter of time
before Miss Mae takes over this spot!
This is actually her favorite napping place!
I think it reminds her of her sweet Mama!
The bright spot is that
Winter does not last long in Texas...
unlike Maine where we had snow for six months.
I think we tend to nap more during Winter, don't you think?
What a luxury to have this option after you retire......
Find what gives you pleasure....savor it!
Stay warm and cozy on this winter's day!
That pie looks wonderful and you and I have the same taste in colors! I'm not surprised since I feel we are sisters:-D
ReplyDeleteWho does not love a good apple pie, right Susan! I hope you enjoy the tea towel and hand soap for your kitchen! I thought a great baker like you might enjoy something new! I am loving the new apron and plan an upcoming post to feature your handiwork! Thanks for visiting today! Stay warm!
DeleteSo lovely Betsy. I really like the pillows and especially the ones in the bedroom. Have a cozy day. ♥
ReplyDeleteHi Martha Ellen! I'll bet winter is alive and well at your home today! What are your plans for the next few months? I look forward to reading about them! Thank you so much for stopping by today! Hugs!
DeleteIt looks very cozy indeed! I love those pillows especially the first one! And that pie! Yes, I'll have a slice please! Are you ready for the cold headed our way tomorrow? I'm glad Texas winters are short and mild. I don't think I could do the long ones they have up north!
ReplyDeleteYes, it should be a good winter's night to stay in with a glass of wine and a good movie! I really do not cold weather Cecilia, do you? Stay warm by the fireside! Spring is sure to appear! Hugs!
DeleteEverything you do turns out wonderfully, Betsy! Now if I could just have a teeny tiny slice of that pie! Happy New Year, my sweet friend.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
The throws and pillows look so cozy. You have a lovely style of decorating in your home. Curl up and have a nap! -Jenn
ReplyDeleteCozy indeed. Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteSix months? You must have been here in a very rough winter! ❄️ Love, love, love the throws and pillows. My daughter and I seldom select the same thing, but my sister and I do all the time.
ReplyDeleteAll those lovely throws look so inviting to lounge under. Oh I bet Mae does love a cozy spot too. Pie is always better with ice cream. :):) Blessings for a short winter there. xoxo, Susie
ReplyDeleteAs I type, I am bundled up with a warm throw (much like yours and your daughters!) in front of the fire with my sophiejane beside me! I also have the Waterside Cottages book at my lakehouse! We are bracing for the cold coming in tonight~and maybe some snow flurries here!
ReplyDeleteHad big plans for my birthday on sunday but it looks like I may just be staying by this fire all weekend long!! Enjoy your beautiful, cozy home!!
We are enjoying the blessings of a heated throw and an eletric blanket. And a tiny heater in this small camper of ours tonight. Your place looks so very elegant!!
