Wow....never truer words written!!!
Yes! I'm right there with you...we do spend our younger lives looking forward to retirement and then when it gets here, we're too tired to enjoy it!!! At least that's how I feel about it....but I am doing my damndest to keep the mind sharp and the body moving and finding ways to make every day just a bit more fun than the one before. And sometimes that just means that I go off all alone to write or read or just wonder at life itself!!jmachttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16455394380447484981noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6712599346434757984.post-36199914173584242992022-05-21T17:21:14.693-05:002022-05-21T17:21:14.693-05:00I know keeping a blog takes effort and so much cre...I know keeping a blog takes effort and so much creative energy. but I feel like you're doing important work.
it seems to stand as a little lighthouse for all of us! showing us the beauty of sailing our individual boats around the shoals and big rocks of Change!
Love of family and beauty and tradition.
Thank you for it. and for just being YOU! Our 18 month old granddaughter keeps us busy for 3 days a week, babysitting, and I tell ya, the next day I sometimes stay in my PJ's all day! Our 14 year old grandson, is like Luke. Becoming very independent. Although as I type this, the whole family is spending the week-end in the Sleeping Bear sand dunes area in upper Michigan and Connor is laying across my bed watching Impractical Jokers! It takes more effort to get everyone together, but it is so worth it. I hope I never become too old to create new memories. My daughter is selling her home on the river. That kid doesn't land anywhere too long. 😳Veehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00618654361869856894noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6712599346434757984.post-51315830959630960542022-05-19T08:51:37.583-05:002022-05-19T08:51:37.583-05:00You are new to me, me having just started followin...You are new to me, me having just started following you.
