Afternoon tea is what I would categorize as leisure comforts...
If you and your guests are made to feel comfortable,
you are more likely to linger longer and enjoy the day...
it's all about setting the scene and serving good food..
it can play a major role as a lovely backdrop for southern hospitality!

I love the china. Your tea time is a wonderful treat. I have never made scone but love them, I may have try it . Blessings, xoxo, Susie
ReplyDeleteI was first introduced to scones years ago by a very dear church friend. I loved them when she served them with tea. They seem to have much less sugar than the other pastries, and go nicely with tea or coffee. The raspberry scones look scrumptious, and having them with peach tea is even better. ; ) You sure know how to make one feel welcome at your home, Betsy.
