Your feelings describe my exact sentiments. It has rocked our world. It is comforting to know and hear that this medication helped your terrier. I am praying it will not happen again. The Vet cautioned us on the cost of the drug, but we were pleasantly surprised to find out Kroger pharmacy only charged $12 for her 1 month supply. Thank you ever so much for sharing, and for visiting me. It had been a true blessing. Merry, merry Christmas!Estelle'shttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04565205787406338559noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6712599346434757984.post-9421008051098317112016-12-05T16:19:47.916-06:002016-12-05T16:19:47.916-06:00Hi Estelle. My Cairn terrier had his first seizure come on out of the blue when he was 15. It happened at 4:00 in the morning. He slept with me and I kept thinking why is he screwing around in the bed so much...he needs to stop whatever he's doing and be still. Ha! I finally turned on the light and saw he was having a seizure. To say I was shocked would be an understatement. I swear, it took years off my life. He, too, was put on Zonisamide and did very well on it. Over the next two years he only had two more episodes...and I think one of those was because I forgot his evening pill. I live in a smaller city and found that Sam's Club had the best price on this drug. Some of the drug stores I called wanted an arm and leg for it!

Anyway, I sure hope that Mae does well and the medicine keeps her seizures at bay. I will be thinking of you and praying for all the best for that sweet kitty of yours.

Tobehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13183890708559034618noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6712599346434757984.post-91998638149936521272016-12-05T06:44:01.890-06:002016-12-05T06:44:01.890-06:00Oh Cecilia...you are so, so sweet to say a prayer ...Oh Cecilia...you are so, so sweet to say a prayer for Mae.
