ORANGE SLICE HOLIDAY CAKE AND VINTAGE CHRISTMAS ART

How are things going in your corner of the world?
We have a cold rainy weekend here in Texas..
I have two wonderful items to share with you today..
a fabulous recipe for Orange Slice Cake
and four vintage art prints I added to the stairway
for the Christmas season....

I know you have most likely seen a recipe for this
very old and well loved Orange Slice Cake or Bread
and it has always intrigued me......so I decided
to give it a try before our holiday party..
honey, it's delicious.....

I decided not to glaze the bread as I could easily
do without a sweet glaze..I think it's lovely for a
beautiful Christmas bread....

the recipe I used is printed below....
I also was looking for some vintage art prints
that I wanted to showcase along the entryway staircase...
I think I found some lovely vintage inspiration
in these holiday prints.....

I am loving the Christmas season..hope you are too!

  1. Your orange holiday cake looks Yummy. I love orange baked goods. It looks similar to a Panetone bread or fruit cake, which I love. And your vintage prints add a nice touch to the stairway. I like the red house. It looks like you are enjoying the Christmas season to the fullest....wonderful.
