SUMMER'S HERE! CHEERFUL UPDATES ROOM BY ROOM!

Why not breathe beauty into every space?

DRESS THE DOOR
A new Rose Hip wreath
greets family and guests for summer visits!

FLOWER POWER
New Hummingbird vines have been planted along
the back fence....this summer, hopefully
we will be enjoying coral and soft yellow blooms!

THE CUCINA....

New placemats, dinner plates and napkins....
featuring vibrant coastal blues and lemon yellows!

Of course,
there will always be a sweet spot!

and...
a room with a pretty view!

A new coastal canvas for the guest bedroom....
I have wanted one of these since we visited
the condo in Ft. Walton Beach...
alas....
he's all ours!

I simply ADORE my new coffee mug which was
given to me on Mother's Day
by Greg and Jenn!
I squealed when I opened the bag
and unwrapped this beautiful mug....
in honor of Estelle's...so thoughtful

So...this led to some inspiration to
"pretty-up" my work space....

New hanging files, a rose gold acrylic stapler,
chic new writing pens and
of course, new sassy reading glasses!

I added a new day journal. along with a pink "TO DO" pad...
then,,,,,,the little glass trinket box caught my eye....it was just a must have!

What 's going on at your house this summer?
I hope your home embraces you
with a sense of place and makes you smile!

    1. Good Morning Susie! How was your week love? I so thank you for stopping by today and for your kind comments! Thank you for the prayers for Texas...we have some good friends down in Houston who had some flooding and actually had to be "boated" out of their home..incredible....it's been quite a bad time down there. Have a great weekend...hugs and blessings Susie!

  3. Betsy, your new touches are so lovely! The wreath on your door is beautiful! I've never seen one like it. Your Cucina items are perfect yellow and blue! The heron canvas is so pretty in your guest room. You are all set to enjoy a wonderful summer. I do hope you are not in the flood area. It's so sad to see these pictures of Texas on the news. Enjoy your weekend. ♥

  4. Oh my goodness, where did your kids get you that Blogging Day cup? I want one! I bet you're going to see a few hummingbirds now with that flower. I think they are attracted to them. Your pie looks scrumptious, and I love your door wreath. It is perfect for the summer days.

    1. Hi Sheri! My daughter in law found the mug at a little boutique in Arlington. I'll bet you can find one on Amazon perhaps....I just love it! The wreath probably looks a bit fallish, but I wanted the flowers to be the star of the show this summer! Hope you are planning for a great weekend! Big hugs!
