THE FIRST PUMPKIN OF THE SEASON

I bought our very first pumpkin of the fall season....
in a lovely shade of blue and cream!
Mother Nature certainly has a way with perfection doesn't she?

The next thing to catch my eye
was this lovely oil painting...
Brisk Autumn Morning!

I thought about the amber color of glass
with little Tom Turkey....
he certainly matches the golden rust colors of the trees.

Can't you just imagine a cool autumn morning
lakeside, with the echoing sound of crows.

I think I'm going to have to add a few more
pumpkins of blue and cream.....
what are your favorite colors of the fall season?

  2. This is such a lovely grouping.....

Favorite Fall season colors? I don't resonate with orange, but in a pumpkin, it is fine since it is natural. But I'm liking the little white ones. Have not seen the beautiful one, you found.

    Happy Full Harvest Moon!

    1. I love white pumpkins too Tessa....there are now so many colors, it's rather fun to mix and match! I can always count on our dear Tessa to inform us to look upward on those beautiful harvest moon evenings!

  3. I had blue Hubbards on display last year, but this, I think it will be good old-fashioned orange. Your little blue and cream pumpkin is very nice!
