For those of us who have pets, I suppose we never tire of taking their photo. The same as your children and grandchildren, right? We cannot deny how much we enjoy talking to them as they unknowingly pose for the camera. Truth be known, they are just being natural, which most often makes for the best photo op! I guess we all know by now, how much I adore this precious kitty, A.K.A. Mae.....Maypole, MaeMae, Me'Me', Mae Mo, Miss Mae, Mae Mobley, beautiful Be'Be'.....the most beautiful girl in the world...I know....what can I say?
One of her favorite games.....being teased by Papa on the stairway!
On patrol....early morning coffee hour
Time for her favorite blanket....her blue bear in tow
Uh-oh...ears in that position indicate she is a tad bit annoyed.....
napping was on her mind, not posing
Every gorgeous feline realizes one must always touch up their face
prior to their photo shoot!
Such a Diva.....I am assuming this means the photo shoot is over!
Total Sweetness!
Now sugar babes.......if you are set to entertain this weekend.....this will make you the "hostest with the mostest"......we had the Scotsman to dinner and both he and Darling actually swooned.......don't you love that? When the men in your life swoon....well, even it is over a piece of pie!
12 ounces cream cheese, room temperature 2 Cups powdered sugar 1/2 C white chocolate chips, melted 1 1/2 T orange juice 2 Cups cool whip
BERRY TOPPING
1 pound strawberries, sliced 3 T white chocolate chips, melted
1 t. heavy cream
Pour 1/2 cup white chocolate chips into a small bowl. Pop it into the
microwave and melt the chips for 30 seconds at a time, stirring after each
cooking interval. Once the chips have melted, set the bowl aside allowing the
chocolate to cool just a bit.
Into a large mixing bowl, place 12 ounces
softened cream cheese. Beat the cream cheese until its smooth. Add
2 cups powdered sugar and mix until the two are well combined.
Add 2 cups of cool whip, 1 1/2 tablespoons orange
juice, and the melted white chocolate. Add a dash of salt and then
mix well, until the ingredients are nicely combined and the mixture is creamy
and smooth.
Carefully spoon the filling over the cooled crust.
Wash and slice 1 pound of strawberries. Then lay them on top of
the filling. Work from the outside edge and work your
way toward the middle.
Melt 3 more tablespoons of white chocolate and heavy cream in the microwave. Make sure to
only heat them for 30 seconds at a time, stirring after each cooking
interval.
Drizzle the chocolate over the top of the berries. |
